Our two Junior Suites are located on the top floor with splendid views over the lower Valle Gran Rey, the mountains, the sea and to the distant island of El Hierro (with clear skies). After a complete renovation in 2021, our two Junior suites welcome you with completely new and comfortable furniture.
A wooden cupula with a top height of more than 4 metres makes you feel like being in a spacious "loft". When staying with us, you will enjoy the privacy and personal atmosphere of a private guest house, combined with the comfort and luxury of a first class hotel.
The building sits on a mountain ridge, overlooking the valley and the picturesque part of the village called "La Calera". It is connected over stairs to the street below. To reach the Junior suites, you will have to climb the stairs with a total of approx. 100 steps. The ascent is worth it, as you will enjoy spectacular views from the terrace of the Junior Suite.
We fitted the two Junior Suites with all comfort. All furniture and equipment is new as of 2022. The wooden kitchen invites you to cook "like at home", as you will not miss anything. It is equipped with a large fridge (containing deep freeze compartements as well), induction-cooking zone, dishwasher, oven and microwave. We have also outfitted the kitchen with the following: 2 coffee makers (one working with capsules, the other producing filtered coffee), Toaster, Water boiler and a Citrus Juicer.
Feel truly "Deluxe", and do not pack too many things, as we provide the following upon arrival: Shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, detergent for washing machine, dishwasher and manal dishwashing, Coffee making equipment (Capsules, filter bags and powdered coffee) as well as salt, pepper and oil for cooking. Of course, we provide linen and towels (including large beach towels). If you stay longer than 7 nights, we provide freshly laundered towels and bed linen weekly.
The Junior Suites has been fitted with a comfy TV chair (and a large 55" TV) as well as fast Internet (WiFi) at no extra charge. As the daytime temperatures range from 19 to 28 degrees all year round, heating or cooling is not absolutely essential. However, we have equipped the Junior Suites with a combined heating / air condition to ensure you feel just perfect in every possible weather situation when you are here.
The large double bed is 1,80 m wide and 2,00 m in length with two mattresses and comfy cushions. This Junior Suite is perfect for up to two persons (No extra beds available in this Junior Suite).
The terrace allows for perfect sunbathing, as it is not roofed. It provides shade whenever you need it through an electric marquee. The terrace is equipped with a full size table to enjoy meals outside, and with two heavy sunchairs with thick and comfy cushions. You will find a washing machine in the bathroom for your personal use during your stay (washing detergent will be provided free of charge).
You may use our spa terrace with a wonderful panoramic view once a week free of charge. There is a panoramic sauna and a jacuzzi here. You can also rent the wellness terrace for private use.

Price per night in our "Junior Suite" (1 or 2 persons): 99 EUR to 149 EUR plus final cleaning fee. Third person: 10 EUR / night extra.
Prices in the booking engine show the final price incl. all taxes, fees and charges. Reduced rates for longtime stays. A rebate between 5% and 25% (depending on the length of your stay) is being deducted from the price automatically when applicable. Highest reduction applies for stays of 28 nights and longer.
The building is located in the picturesque zone of "La Calera". It is not suitable for walking impaired persons, as you need to climb stairs of approx. 115 steps to reach the appartement.
The Junior Suites is one of three appartements that we rent to guests within the "La Galeria" building, which is located in the traditional part of the village called "La Calera".
Only a few minutes away by foot you will find a local supermarket and different restaurants as well as hiking paths. The different parts of the "Valle Gran Rey" town can be reached by foot within 5 to 20 minutes. All four beaches of Valle Gran Rey can also be reached by foot within 15 to 25 minutes.
The central bus station and the taxi stand of Valle Gran Rey are approx. 400 m away. If desired, we will pick you up from there, and bring your luggage to your appartement.
When arriving via the airport Tenerife south (TFS), we recommend you to book a transfer to Valle Gran Rey that includes buses and ferry. "Autobuses Mesa" provides this transfer.
Please keep in mind, that the ferry from Los Christianos (Tenerife) to San Sebastian (La Gomera) makes about 6 trips per day. The two companies serving this route are "Naviere Armas" and "Fred Olsen Express". Some airplane arrivial- or departure times in Tenerife may not allow a same-day transfer to or from La Gomera.
It is also convenient to rent a car at Tenerife south airport. Not all car rental companies allow you to take the car to different islands. The operator "Cicar" allows you this transfer, and has to our knowledge the most customer friendly handling and also a good car availability. However, there is a shortage of cars, as the rental companies had to decrease their fleet significantly during CoVid, and need time to rebuild their fleet capacity. If you plan to book a car for your entire stay, make sure you have a reservation in advance!
The total transfer time frome Tenerife South is about 3 hours (Airport to Los Christianos dock approx. 20 minutes, ferry crossing 1 hour, San Sebastian (La Gomera) to Valle Gran Rey approx. 1 hour).
